Colourful Irish designers included Amalka designs, elegant yet echo-friendly beautiful light Linen Designs. This naturally sustainable fabric and non-chemical dyes are echo- friendly hence the colours of green, brown and creme. Kristina, Designer at Amalka described the interchangeability of linen from everyday wear to elegant evening wear. Linen also works with and fits to blend with the body shape as well as the fact that light linen tends not to wrinkle as much as heavier linens. Amalka Designs are handmade in Kilkenny and have a substantial following internationally.

Roisin Linnane‘s Designs on the otherhand is a more formal pressed look with puffta sleeves fit for the races or weddings. Previously a nurse, Roisin trained in the Grafton Academy of Dress Design. Roisins Designs are as always colourful and fit for those special occasions. This year’s striking collection from Roisin featured orange, strong blue and white.

House of Kerry Designs reflected the beauty of the landscape from the shores of Lough Guittane. A tweed coat with hexagonal shapes like a honeycomb on back with an artistic silk lined hood is earthy yet unexpectedly elegant, a timeless peace. House of Kerry also do creative scarfs of surreal art.
