Professional Beauty’s tradeshow goes ultimate at the RDS Dublin

Feel free to share:

FAR from a new concept in hair and beauty shows, the Professional Beauty & Hair tradeshow at the RDS Dublin Ireland was rumbling along for a few years before the pandemic intervened.

Opatra Skincare’s Dayan Elamrm was at the Professional Beauty & Hair tradeshow to demonstrate the Instant Wrinkle Eliminator formula, which drastically reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, under-eye puffiness and dark circles in a matter of minutes

The tradeshow was back with a respectable bang in the RDS last November, the recent inspo expo in May marked a turning point when more than 100 exhibitors from across the beauty industry signed up to be there, marking Professional Beauty’s ultimate event featuring the latest product launches and innovations. The show was in partnership with Irish Beauty and main sponsor Treatwell.

“The biggest thing is that everything has come back to life again, that all of these visitors came back to these sorts of shows,” said Professional Beauty’s marketing coordinator Molly Clifford when she spoke with Pynck.com at the show. “I think that for the second show (since last November) everyone is realising that it’s not all online anymore. It’s coming back to seeing everything, touching everything, testing everything, particularly in Ireland it’s just incredible.”

This year’s show over two days gave ample opportunity and space for visitors to browse some of the biggest industry brand names and discover what’s on trend among exhibitors and at live stages in trends and techniques, hair and barbering and skin and advanced treatments. In a nod to better times, nail competitions were once again staged while makeup competitions made their debut featuring talented makeup artists in a showcase of creativity.

“I think the show has been amazing, the quality of all of the businesses, the salon owners that have come over and spoken to the brands,” continued Molly Clifford. “Everyone was so friendly and there was such a welcome, networking and seeing people that you haven’t had the opportunity to see before.”
