Kildare Village Launches Colourama: A Summer Street Festival Celebrating Art, Music, And Wellness

Let the sun shine through this summer at COLOURAMA, Kildare Village’s new must-attend summer street festival celebrating art, music, wellness, and colourful fashion taking place throughout July and August. Spark something colourful in your imagination at COLOURAMA with the help of Ireland’s leading artists, musicians, and wellness ambassadors, and shop over 120 brands to bring colour into your wardrobe. The COLOURAMA summer festival is a hub of celebration of all the things we love about summer in Ireland!

ART AT COLOURAMA

From immersive experiences to vibrant murals and installations, this Summer Kildare Village is a colourful canvas for some of Ireland’s leading and emerging talent. The Village has teamed up with artists including Maser and Shane O’Malley to bring colourful living truly to life in COLOURAMA. Following on from the success of the Minaw Collective’s work last summer and Ireland’s largest open-air art exhibition, this year international artist Maser takes over with a series of vibrant art installations throughout the Village.

MUSIC AT COLOURAMA

Enjoy the sounds of the summer at COLOURAMA in Kildare Village this Summer. From jazz to rap, and traditional Irish music to folk, there’ll be a tune to get everyone moving. Dublin pop starlet, Aimee Fitzpatrick, hot off the successful launch of her new single, plays COLOURAMA on Thursday 13 July at 6pm. DJ Rosa will help get guests ready for the weekend playing tunes on Saturday 15 July from 3pm to 5pm, while music tastemaker and DJ at some of Ireland’s leading festivals, Tara Kumar, will bring the festival beats to Kildare Village on Thursday, 3 August, from 6pm. WELLNESS AT COLOURAMA 

Colour your world in many ways by joining some of Ireland’s best wellness experts and new faces as they bring health and wellbeing to the centre of COLOURAMA this summer. Each week there are wonderful wellness events – from fitness influencer, Niamh Cullen’s Power Class designed to make you both sweat and smile, to yoga classes and cacao ceremonies with renowned Dublin yoga and Pilates studio Reformation. These wellness weekends will take place on the beautiful grounds of Grey Abbey in Kildare Village and tickets are available from €20 here redeemable against a Kildare Village gift card.

LIVE LIFE IN FULL COLOUR AT COLOURAMA

Kildare Village is a long-standing champion of local talent and this summer will see the opening of four new Irish owned boutiques. Sculpted by Aimee has just opened her second bricks and mortar boutique at Kildare Village housing all fan favourites. Irish jewellery designer Oscar Graves will also open on Thursday 13 July, with unique luxury pieces. Designer Sinead Keary will open her second pop up at Kildare Village later this month, selling her famous capsule pieces, along with boutique florist One More Thing, providing hand-tied dried floral products.

Enjoy the longer evenings at Kildare Village with the new summer opening hours of 9am to 8pm and express yourself in colourful clothes as you shop 120 leading brands in Kildare Village. From yellow to demonstrate self-esteem and optimism, to orange which shows a quest for knowledge and red to highlight strength, there is a colour to suit every palette this summer at Kildare Village. As part of the experience at the Personal Shopping Suites, guests can enjoy a ‘Perfect Palette’ service, which offers expert colour analysis during a 40-minute appointment, including an individual seasonal colour swatch.
