There has been some exciting client news this month from Charlotte Tilbury and Bumble.

Charlotte Tilbury announced its first-ever global sports sponsorship: becoming the first female-founded brand and the first beauty brand to sponsor F1® Academy. F1® Academy is an ambitious new project from Formula 1 to develop and prepare female drivers to progress to higher levels of competition. The partnership will bring to life Charlotte Tilbury and F1® Academy’s shared purpose to empower everyone, everywhere to feel their most confident. Charlotte Tilbury will use its global platform to showcase F1 Academy’s incredible female drivers, helping them build their careers and shining a light on their achievements and talent, so that a wider audience will learn about the opportunities this amazing sport can hold for women. Currently 40% of F1 fans are female, contributing to a total 2022 season viewership of over 1.5bn.

Meanwhile over at Bumble, the women-first dating app, made sure everyone received a gift on Valentine’s Day by teaming up with Ireland’s own self-proclaimed Model/Legend (*cough Hot Ones cough*) and Saltburn/Masters of the Air star, Barry Keoghan.

On teaming up with Bumble, Barry shared a message saying, “Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love in all its forms and I wanted to team up with Bumble this year to have some fun with that message.  We all need to learn to love ourselves and each other a bit more!”

This year, Bumble dubbed 2024 as The Year of Self, with 68%* of women globally strongly agreeing that you need a good relationship with yourself before entering into a romantic relationship. In fact, 2 in 5 (40%)* Irish women said they will now only date people who will not try to change them.
