Rioja Wine Festival 2024
Wine on Line are delighted to announce the return of the 2024 Rioja Wine Festival.
This year’s festival will take place at The Alex Hotel, Fenian Street, (off Merrion Square) Dublin D02 H678 on Saturday 19th October 2024.
Look out for the all new Discovery Zone, where guests can taste their way through a range of premium, modern and unique styles of Rioja. There will also be wines fermented in alternative vessels such as amphora or clay pots which display the evolution of wine in the region. There will be plenty of Vinedo Singular wines, DOCa Rioja’s new classification featuring wines from single plots.
The event sold out in 2022 and 2023 so make sure you book your ticket soonest!
Masterclasses presented by John Wilson wine columnist with the Irish Times and Master of Wine Fergal Tynan are also part of the event. Each will present a 45-minute Masterclass during both the afternoon and evening sessions. Tickets purchased for Masterclasses will include General access to tasting over 150 wines as well as the Masterclass you have chosen.
