Brad Pitt, Sat Hari, and the long road to linen
As far as origin stories go, God’s True Cashmere has one of the craziest. The IYKYK luxury brand was founded in 2019 in Los Angeles by Brad Pitt and jewellery designer and holistic healer Sat Hari, after the latter had a dream featuring the F1 star looking “like a leprechaun”. Today, the company reports earnings in the eight figures with exponential year-on-year growth.
We sat down with Sat Hari last month in the brand’s showroom in Paris, where she openly spoke about both the brand’s journey as well as her own. It was one of my favourite interviews I’ve conducted so far this year (and not just because we meditated beforehand), so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
