The Irish Food Writing Awards 2025
The Irish Food Writing Awards now in its fifth year, acknowledges the writing achievements for those writing about food and drinks on the Irish market.
Published authors of books, those involved in food and drink writing, as well as restaurant critiques, feature writing, recipe writing, photography, podcasts, and social media are all invited to submit their entry. Uniquely, the awards are judged by international media representatives to ensuring impartiality.
This year, for the first time, Butlers Chocolates will sponsor The Food and Drink Magazine Award, a hotly contested category. The 2025 award will be judged by Felicity Cloake, a well-known UK food writer, and the award-winning columnist for the Guardian newspaper.
Irish Food Writing Awards founder Suzanne Campbell said “We are delighted to have Butlers Chocolates as a key sponsor. As one of Ireland’s best known and well-loved family business, their support, and that of all our sponsors, is very important”.
The Irish Food Writing Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 13th November, 2025 at the RDS, Dublin 4.
