Spring 2018 Collection – Paris Fashion Week
What is the most iconic things that come to mind when you think of Paris?
For us, The Eiffel Tower and Fashion. So what happened at Paris Fashion week this time? Saint Laurent completely topped Chanel’s Eiffel Tower inside The Grade Palais set at Haute Couture earlier this year, with a runway smack bang in front of Paris’s most iconic landmark (the real one, not a scaled down model).
As for the collection and the pieces themselves, we saw many billowing silhouettes and cinched in waists and of course some typicalSaint Laurent plunging necklines. We love the accessories to this collection, which are very poetic and Parisienne, just check out those feathery over the knee boots. They are surely making it onto our most coveted list for next summer. Interesting, and yet again, dark leather is cropping up in another spring summer collection. So I think it is safe to say, if you invest in leather pieces now, they will still be hot (pun intended, especially in warm weather! Can you just imagine!) next season.
