For the first time in the fashion house’s history, the legendary Chanel N°5 fragrance has been redesigned in red, a limited-edition bottle which is on sale now
Known for its clean rectangular clear glass bottle with a facetted stopper and minimalist branding, the look of Chanel N°5 is as distinctive as its scent. Now, for Christmas 2018, it comes cloaked in red, marking the brand’s first ever alteration of its iconic packaging.
Why? Besides pleasing collectors and fragrance fans, plus Christmas shoppers looking for true festive feels, red holds special meaning for the house of Chanel. It’s “the colour of life, the colour of blood,” said the late Gabrielle Chanel.
The team from Chanel UK and Brown Thomas hosted the masterclass introducing LE MAT DE CHANEL RANGE and the Chanel N°5 limited-edition fragrance. Pica pushes matte to the extreme with makeup for lips, eyes, cheeks and nails with matching packaging. By exploring the limits of the unique texture, she creates a powerful and audacious new collection for a total matte look.
LIQUID MATTE LIP COLOUR BLURRED EFFECT
ROUGE ALLURE LIQUID POWDER – A matte liquid lip colour in vibrant shades, combining innovation and sensoriality. A long-wearing powdery matte finish with an unparalleled blurring effect on the lips. An unprecedented creamy and powdery second-skin texture that glides when applied and softens lips for a sensation of comfort. An integrated foam applicator leaves a thin film on the lips for a light to intense blurred makeup result. With or without a mirror, the result is impeccable.
