Spring is just around the corner and after a hectic start to the year with so many generic wine and portfolio tastings happening it has been a busy start to a new year for the wine trade  in Ireland.

Liberty Wines will hold their Annual Portfolio tasting in the Westbury on February 28th, not to be missed, (more details below).

Congratulations to Erik & Michelle Robson who celebrated 20 years since they first opened  ely winebar in Ely Place with a total refurbishment and a  fabulous new look (more details in the news section).

Look out for a brand new trade initiative Wine & Spirit Women, an Irish based networking organisation for women in the drinks industry,  launching on March 5th  2019. Co founded by Lynne Coyle MW and Justine McGovern, this is the first event of its kind for women in the drinks industry in Ireland. (more details below)

Watch out for  a very interesting collaborative tastings in Dublin on Monday 4th March, 2019.  MWC brings together the combined talents of Moore Wines,  Whelehan Wines and Grace Campbell Wines.

Look out too for the Wine Mason portfolio tasting on March 12th in Studio 6 at Temple Bar Gallery and the Vinostitos portfolio tasting on March 25th.  More details about all these wine events in the wine diary.
