IMMA is delighted to invite you to a gallery-based discussion with Irish artist Fergus Martin and IMMA Collection’s curator Johanne Mullan. Together they explore a range of media from various stages of Martin’s career, focusing on several works featured in his solo exhibition as part of IMMA Collection: Then and Now series.
Demonstrating the breadth of Martin’s practice, this gallery-based discussion, looks at Martin’s paintings, sculptures and photography, and the ways the artist creates geometric forms that give shape to a preoccupation with space, colour, tension and materials, reflecting the world around him.
