Jennifer Lopez is Coach’s New Global Face

Feel free to share:

This truly is Jennifer Lopez’s year in the fashion spotlight.

She was our Fashion Icon at the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards, walked the Versace finale in a redo of the iconic tropical leaf pattern dress (causing an Instagram sensation), and just wowed the world in a form-fitted strapless leather dress by CFDA member Dennis Basso in GQ Magazine.

Now, Lopez is cementing her ties to the fashion industry even further. This morning, JLo was named the new global face of Coach. The actress and singer will star in the house’s campaigns starting with Spring 2020, shot by Juergen Teller.

“Jennifer is so authentic,” Coach Creative Director and CFDA member Stuart Vevers said. “She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way––she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign.”

At 50, JLo is having another career moment and is looking better than ever, wowing audiences with her star turn in Hustlers and her It’s My Party tour.

Lopez is no stranger to the house. She carried Coach Signature bags in her 2002 video for “All I Have.”

“It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of,” she said, “and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style––an uptown downtown mix.”
