The willingness to embrace new ways of shopping that disrupt the high-volume, fast-fashion model, such as vintage stores, second-hand events, resale platforms (Vestiaire Collective and Depop both popped up at Selfridges this year and continue to grow their audiences) and rental – is tangible. Sustainability is more than a trend; it is the defining topic of the fashion industry – now and in the future. Envisaging the challenges of this future and suggesting positive ways to make a change – that has been Neonyt’s pioneering mission ever since it was first launched over ten years ago. Nowadays, it is the largest B2B (Buyer to Buyer) global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation bringing together key green fashion labels in the German capital.

With a comprehensive portfolio of about 200 national and international sustainable fashion brands from more than 25 countries, the Neonyt Trade Fair impressed Pynck not only because it reevaluated its outlook of the fashion industry which was heavily criticised in 2019 especially for its environmental impact, but also for its even more streamlined fashion profile, in-depth contents and community building opportunities. The particularly large number of conventional buyers attending underlined the relevancy and creativity of the fair. Prepare for some particularly amazing highlights in following articles!
