Ireland’s biggest fashion show returns to the RDS this March
There isn’t a person across Ireland whose life hasn’t been affected by cancer whether through personal experience or by watching someone else go through it. This Spring, you can come out and do your bit to support the fight against cancer, while also feasting your eyes on all of the latest fashion trends.
The Arc Cancer Support fashion show, Ireland’s largest fashion event returns to the RDS this March. Now in its seventh year, the show has been going from strength to strength and will feature its very own cancer survivor ‘angels’ who will strut their stuff on the runway so watch out Gigi and co.
RTÉ presenter Mairead Ronan has stepped up to act as MC on the night. For Mairead who lost her mum to cancer when she was just 20, no doubt this is a cause close to her heart.
The highlight of this year’s event includes a first look at the latest collections from Helen Cody, Sorcha O’Rathallaigh, Sarah Murphy, Leonora Ferguson, Helen Hayes and much more.
KDK and Sara O’Neill will be showcasing all of the latest holiday looks, while Milinier Aoife Kirwan and Heidi Higgins will provide inspirational occasion wear looks alongside Caterina Coyne, Charlotte Lucas, Caroline Mitchell, Delphine Grandjouan.
Brown Thomas will be putting its best foot forward by showing all of the latest footwear trends. New this year is Leyo Yoga whose athleisure range might just tempt us back to the gym.
Members of the Council of Irish Fashion Designers will showcase exquisite handmade pieces on the night.
Last but certainly not least, Galway-based designer Niamh Daniels has created special prints across a range of wraps, shawls and kimonos for the Arc Cancer angels to model while Kate Ann McGuigan while jet in from London to close the show.

Commenting on the show, Arc Head of Fundraising Mairead Magan said: ‘With over €300,000 raised to date and with an audience of 900 people in attendance every year, it has become a firm favourite among Irish fashionistas and a must go to see fixture in calendars across Ireland.
‘With the proceeds, ARC can continue to expand its free services and we were delighted to be in a position to open a new centre, Lowell House on Herbert Avenue, Dublin last year.’
