Ireland’s renowned hospitality will return after the passage of Covid-19

Industry sources have included an online support hub to keep tourists who have been forced to postpone their travel plans in the loop during the Covid-10 crisis.

Failte Ireland and their domestic marketing campaign Discover Ireland along with Tourism Ireland all are offering virtual tourism of restaurants, hotels and local landmarks to help plan that postponed trip after the crisis passes.

Irish hospitality is poised for recovery when restrictions are lifted

“Failte Ireland has triggered a number of initiatives that will deliver almost €3 million back to Irish tourism businesses,” said CEO Paul Kelly. “These include refunds of accommodation registration charges and trade show participation fees as well as the abolition of a range of other promotional fees and charges for the remainder of 2020.”

Industry officials are working closely with the Irish government through the pandemic while the hospitality and Irish tourism sites remain closed for health and safety in support of the best possible outcome for affected businesses and tourists.
