Feel free to share:

Luxury Baby & Mama bundles in a timeless gift box – Mamas Hospital Bag

With four children between them, school friends Grace Quinn and Sarah Molony have experienced first-hand the excitement and preparation of getting ready to welcome a new baby and how juggling work and family life in the lead up, often sees mum’s needs fall to the bottom of the priorities list. This shared experience is where the idea for a unique, indulgent hospital bag experience was born.

On a mission to bring elegance, style and comfort to the hospital experience, all Mama Bundles are comprised of three layers to provide everything an expectant mother needs for her hospital stay, from award winning Irish Brands such as Voya Skincare to international labels synonymous with luxury (the American lifestyle brand eberjey’s PJs are the Softest.Pyjamas.Ever.).

Each hospital bag is comprised of three distinct layers. Open the packaging, on The Mama Bundle for example, to reveal the top layer which contains overnight items such as pyjamas, a nightdress, dressing gown, eye mask and slippers. The middle layer is packed with travel sized essentials, facecloths, hair ties and brush, products for the body, hair and face from Voya skincare and the award-winning Nipple SOS from Irish brand Nessa Organics. The final base layer is filled with female necessities from well-known brands, from toothbrushes and wet wipes to breast pads and maternity pads; the team are constantly researching the best products to take care of a new mum’s body in the days following birth.

The time spent in hospital is relatively brief, but Mamas Hospital Bag have curated pieces that can be enjoyed beyond your stay. Nighties and pyjamas are not maternity wear but investment sets in a style that supports a changing body and all skincare products are daily essentials from premium brands that are an investment treating mama from bump and beyond.

Hospitals may not be the most relaxing of places, but Grace and Sarah feel strongly that new mums deserve to feel the best they can and the unboxing experience provided by Mamas Hospital Bag is as exciting as the contents are practical. With meticulous attention to detail, the carefully considered journey from one layer to the next is designed to excite and ensure each recipient feels pampered during this special chapter. The signature box takes its inspiration from a Victorian hat-box and like all of the contents has been chosen to be enjoyed throughout your stay and beyond. Designed as a keepsake box, many mamas choose to fill it with memorable items from baby’s first year, beautifully displayed in their nurseries.

Founded by school friends and mothers, Grace Quinn and Sarah Molony, Mamas Hospital Bag began as a conversation on a weekend away in France in 2018 and was launched the following year.

The premise was to create a hospital bag experience which is equally emotional and exciting, as it is indulgent and hassle free.

As mothers they experienced the excitement of getting ready to welcome a new baby and equally how little time one may have to prepare juggling work, life and family in the lead up. Having a pre-prepared hospital bag full of luxury brands is something they would have loved as an indulgent treat, whilst easing up your ‘to-do’ list!

Sarah is a pharmacist originally from Cork living in Dublin and is a mother of 2.

Grace works in the Oil and Gas industry and has moved back recently to Dublin (originally from Kildare) having been based across London and Australia for the past 15 years and is a Mother of 2

The unboxing is an important part of the experience, with the signature packaging based on a Victorian hat-box. The idea, devised by Grace and brought to life by Limerick-based packaging manufacturer JJ O’Toole.

Mama Bundles are available as well as Baby Bundles and Mama and Baby Bundles.
