Hairdressers Journal is going live online

Feel free to share:

THE Hairdressers Journal Virtual Week last March heralded the start of something good happening while deep in the coronavirus pandemic, so good in fact that this Tuesday and Wednesday, 6th-7th October HJ will be going live online with fantastic speakers who will inform, inspire and entertain.

Kicking off two days of live videos and webinars will be a cutting tutorial with the renowned Andrew Jose on how to create a tailored transformation for clients. The live content stresses the importance of the right hairstyle at the right time for every client.

“Our work is incredibly important to people’s lives and being aware of the effect it can have, adding a fringe, chopping into layers or a completely new look that can turn heads,” said Andrew Jose in an interview last year to Salon Gold. “Our skill to interpret someone’s needs emotionally and to enhance their features is often undervalued but perhaps more importantly, taking responsibility for your client’s style will reflect the clientele you have and perhaps ultimately the career you enjoy.”

As well as Andrew Jose, HJ will be going live with Nergish Wadia-Austin, creator of the recently rebranded PHAB Service Stars performance-based industry rating system for industry professionals in hair, beauty and nails on 7th October on how to create a five-star customer service.

“I design and teach best business management practice to owners and managers of hair and beauty businesses around the world,” said Nergish Wadia-Austin. “I believe that salon and spa managers often get there through sheer hard work, instinct, experience and hard lessons learned along the way. “I have designed a series of courses to make that journey a lot simpler.”
