THE Swiss Polo Association has appointed Morgan Van Overbroek as the organisation’s new president, the first female player to take on the role in a sport generally dominated by men.

The SPA is the parent organisation of polo clubs in Switzerland, its main task being to represent the interests of the country’s polo clubs to international polo associations including the Federation of International Polo and the Hurlingham Polo Association.
The 1-goal handicapped player is co-owner of Polo Park & Country Club Zurich with husband Sebastien Le Page.
