THE acclaimed Irish star Colin Farrell will be joining Virgin Media Festival Director Gráinne Humphreys in conversation at the Dublin International Film Festival, headlining an exciting line up of screenings and interviews online at http//:diff.ie.

Alongside Harry McQueen and Ben Sharrock, Amma Asante and UK talent Francis Lee will also take their turns in conversation while ‘Tina’ and ‘Just 1 Day’ will premiere at DIFF as well as an online exhibition. ‘Tina’ documents how iconic singer Tina Turner overcame pain and personal turmoil while in ‘Just 1 Day’, cinematographer Christopher Doyle brings visual beauty to established screenwriter Erica Li’s directorial debut set in Hong Kong amid the city’s rapidly changing heritage.

“They are incredible experiences,” said Colin Farrell of the online Virgin Media International Film Festival. “What this does is open festivals up to a greater panoply of people and a wider audience and allows people to get a sense of the opportunities and films at a film festival and the passion that fuels film festivals.”

Hosted last year at the Lighthouse Cinema following a gala launch evening in Dublin Ireland, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival will be online from 3rd to 14th March.
