Rihanna Is Inspiring Us to Wear Pumps with Our Sweatpants
Rihanna continues to raise the bar on luxe quarantine outfits.
The beauty and fashion mogul was photographed leaving one of her favorite dinner spots, Giorgio Baldi, in Santa Monica, California, last night wearing an ensemble that was equal parts comfortable, cozy, and beyond chic. Dressed in a pair of green screen-printed sweatpants by cult brand Brain Dead, Rihanna also wore a lace-trimmed black camisole and a fuzzy green-and-white-striped cardigan layered under a shearling-lined brown leather jacket.
The superstar accessorized her look with bright white pointed-toe pumps from Amina Muaddi, a green top-handle mini bag, oversized emerald rings, a choker-style necklace, and rectangular-framed acetate sunglasses. Though the singer’s protective black face mask and retro-inspired eyewear blocked most of her beauty look, her long micro-braids were on full view.
Over the past few weeks, the mogul’s dinner excursions have doubled as major street style moments, with the star sporting several sexy outfits that have included mesh knit dresses, faux fur, and relaxed headwear, plus unbuttoned-down-to-there leather blouses paired with distressed denim and strappy heels.
Hair, however, might be top of mind for Rihanna right now. Speculation began to swirl that the Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty founder will soon be debuting a line of hair products, as a trademark for Fenty Hair was filed by the pop star’s company on March 3. The trademark reportedly covers the realms of styling, straightening, relaxing, and waving products, and even hair color and hair glitter.
