Miami Beach, FL., July 11, 2021 – PARAISO hosted quite the Saturday filled with dynamic fashion-centric events through Miami Beach on Saturday, July 10th. What better way to ease into Day 3’s fun-filled event schedule than a graceful sun salute, guided breathing, and tree pose for a Yin Yang Yoga experience at Anatomy with CARAVANA. Attendees hula-ed over to The Plymouth Hotel for a Hawaiian-themed luau fashion presentation hosted by Hawaii native turned Miami local, LeimakaniCHROMAT hosted a media luncheon mid-day at the RITZ Carlton to continue discussions of this year’s underlying theme of Direct-to-consumer business trends. After a midday lunch recharge, eventgoers swiftly transitioned into their evening attire to attend the festival’s most electric day – crossing SoBe between Collins Park, The Villa Casa Casuarina, The Mondrian, and back to the PARAISO Tent to attend Life by Style Group Collective: Avid Swim, Megan Mae, Rosewater Swimwear, boohoo, Poster Girl, Luli Fama, Sports Illustrated, and Honey Birdette.

Life By Style opened with a performance from musical group JNA’s hit “Heavy Weapons.” Then Avid Swim’s collection debuted featuring colorful floral prints followed by Rosewater Swim’s all leopard collection inspired by street style, and Megan Mae’s collection closed the show with bright hues and creative silhouettes.

Avid Swim: Avid Swim showed a collection of sustainable luxury swimwear with beautiful bold floral prints and creative cuts. The brand had Prince Michael Harty from VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Miami walk a look down the runway.

Rosewater Swim: Each piece of the collection featured a textured waterproof leopard fabric adding another layer of dimension in a completely unexpected way.

Luli Fama returned to the PARAISO Tent for yet another epic runway show. Kicking off the show was a very unique modern dance performance with high-energy, tribal-like made-up dancers, leaping, high-kicking, and break dancing down the runway. An eleganza of brilliantly crafted one and two-piece silhouette swimwear graced the runway diving right into Luli Fama swim. She remained true to her elegant-meets-playful styles for both swim and resort wear. Showcasing a variety of multi-toned, colorful pieces with both pattern, texture, and classics. Standing out within the presentation were iridescent metallics, beautifully stitched cutouts, beaded ties and sinches, and a variety of very sexy peekaboo slits within one and two pieces throughout the entire presentation. Luli delivered stunning patterns marrying her resort and swim collections, ideal for a quick transition from poolside to lounge side environments. These resort rompers flowed perfectly on many body types and will most certainly make their way into wardrobes globally. More photos below.
