O’Briens Wines will be marking Spanish Wine Week (Oct 4th – 10th) with a few great offers.  Look out for the 2011/21 Conde de Valdemar Reserva at €19.95 a tremendous offer for what is a superb wine,  a 40% saving.  I love their 2020 La Huida Albariño, Rías Baixas Spain  €14.95 (pictured) reduced from €17.95. The 2018 Monte Real Crianza from DOCa Rioja €12.95 is another great favourite.

This October look out for some great new additions to the O’Briens Wine Range.  Many are sourced from some brand-new winery partners as well as a few old favourites.

Laurent Miquel Connemara, Saint-Chinian, Languedoc France, 2018 RRP €15.95 (reduced to €13.95 from 27th September-31st October) Eighth generation winemaker, Laurent Miquel, needs no introduction- his wines have been a staple in Ireland for years, his new Connemara Saint-Chinian is a Syrah-Grenache blend that celebrates the wild beauty of two regions close to Laurent’s and his Irish wife Neasa’s hearts: Saint Chinian in the South of France and Connemara in the West of Ireland. Certified Vegan

Disznókő Dry Furmint, Tokaji Hungary, 2020 RRP €17.95 (reduced to €15.95 from 27th September-31st October) Disznókő dates back to 1732 and produce some of the best sweet wines in Tokaji, but this new Furmint is bone dry, with a fresh, aromatic profile and racy minerality.
