Ireland to go green with St Patrick’s Day 2023 events around the island
IT doesn’t matter if you are Irish or not when you can visit one amazing island of six unique regions, Ireland is the place to be for St Patrick’s Day parades and festivals.
Choose or mix and match or visit every one of the six regions of Ireland from Dublin and the West to Belfast and Northern Ireland, Ireland’s Ancient East and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. The main event in Dublin for the national day of cultural celebration takes place on Friday 17 March with the parade. Aimed at collectively celebrating, sharing, and having fun, more than 4,000 participants will be in Dublin City, performing to the theme of ‘We Are One’: the theme reminds that we are one when we respect each other and our world.

The St Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival will return to the street of Galway City from 17 to 20 March. A series of events offering a feast of family entertainment are expected to take place over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend and many can be found online at https://www.visitgalway.ie/.
The ‘Voices of Belfast’ will celebrate the city’s vibrant heritage of music from 10 to 18 March featuring pop to punk and traditional to disco, highlighted in the St Patrick’s Day Parade on 17 March.
