Chanel opens its garden: an olfactory journey around orange blossom
JARDINS JARDIN event, Chanel is offering a unique olfactory and botanical journey through French perfumery in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries, Paris 1er.
From flowers to perfumes, this garden will allow you to discover, through an original and immersive visit, Chanel’s Orange Blossom sector. From the gardens of private individuals who pick exclusively for Chanel to the cultivation of seven hundred young sour orange trees, this 200 m² space in the heart of the Tuileries will transport visitors directly to the Riviera, between Vallauris Golfe-Juan and Le Bar-sur-Loup.
The Orange Blossom or Bigaradier (Citrus aurantium) sector that Chanel, associated with the MUL family (one of the most important perfume flower producers), preserves and develops in organic farming, in the Pays de Grasse, makes it possible to secure an exceptional quality of raw material for its perfumes. This approach also aims to preserve a unique know-how and guarantee the durability of a rare heritage.
“I like the idea that the perfume, so immaterial and impalpable, comes from something concrete, real and very artisanal, like the earth, the flowers, the picking. » Olivier Polge, Perfumer-Creator of Chanel perfumes.
Discreetly in N°5 Extrait, majestically in the Eau de Cologne of the Les Exclusifs line, or clearly displayed in PARIS-RIVIERA, Chanel’s orange blossom thus expresses its multiple olfactory facets.
