2023 Irish Wine Show Star Award Winners announced
The National Off Licence Association (Noffla) have just announced the 2023 Irish Wine Show Star Awards at the Irish Wine Show. Each of the winning wines will be sold in NOffLA member outlets across the country and will be recognisable by distinctive Award symbols on each bottle. In the pre-Christmas period NOffLA members will promote the Irish Wine Show Star Awards 2023-2025 Collection as ideal Christmas gifts, in a variety of special gift packs.

Over 600 wines were submitted to the Star Award adjudication panel of NOffLA judges and independent wine journalists. Points were awarded on the basis of appearance, smell, taste and value for money criteria, and the winning 54 wines were selected as the best wines from key suppliers across a number of price categories.
This year the Wine of the Year 2023-23 was the Portia Crianza Tempranillo 2019 which is distributed in Ireland by Richmond Marketing.
Ampersand Wines and Mackenway Distributors both had Four Gold Star winners from their portfolio.Febvre & Co and Bibendum Ireland had three Gold Star wines, Liberty Wines (Ireland) had two Gold Star Winners and Tindal Wine Merchants, MCM Spirits and Liqueurs and Richmond Marketing had one Gold Star winner.
