Men’s Fall-Winter 2024-2025 Fashion Week in Milan and Paris. From western style to coats in pop colors, including XXL bags, here’s an overview of what men (and perhaps women) will want to wear in a few months

1. The western trend and the cowboy look

The Western aesthetic is establishing itself as one of the essential trends of this  Fall-Winter 2024-2025 Fashion Week . Spotted at the Achilles Ion Gabriel fashion show presented at Pitti Uomo in Florence, the cowhide pattern, seen on bags or pants, reigned supreme on the catwalks. However, we will have to wait for the exceptional Louis Vuitton fashion show designed by Pharrell Williams to definitively bring the cowboy trend back into fashion . Fringed pants, pairs of cowboy boots and even Stetson-style hats helped make this parade memorable.

2. Extreme tailoring for suits with XXL shoulders

Tailoring taken to the extreme is also emerging as a striking trend of this latest Men’s Fashion Week . We find it from the first days of Milan fashion week, where certain models walk the catwalks with suits with exaggerated shoulders and narrowed waists, reminiscent of Thierry Mugler ‘s 80s power dressing . Like lacerated at Gucci , worn close to the body at EgonLab or even with an unstructured collar at the Dior fashion show , the costumes reinvent themselves once again and continue to amaze us.

As a nod to the western trend, faux fur has literally taken over the fashion catwalks in the form of coats or even XXL hats for this fall-winter 2024-2025 season. At Giorgio Armani , at  Milan Men’s Fashion Week  , fur is available in a leopard pattern on the lining of a coat or even on a zipped jacket. In Paris, we find it at the Drôle de Monsieur fashion show or at KidSuper , worn by Brazilian football legend  Ronaldinho .

In addition to the cowboy hats from the Louis Vuitton fashion show , turquoise jewelry can be found on many looks, in the form of buttons on shirts and jackets, worn simply as earrings or even as topstitching on jeans. For its part, the Balmain wardrobe by Olivier Rousteing is punctuated with exceptional accessories like head jewelry and gold metal hats that look great. On certain models, the models’ faces appear split in two or covered entirely by a Daft Punk-style gold helmet. Finally, the brooch is making a comeback at the Dolce & Gabbana and Fendi fashion shows .

8. Sexy tops, a daring trend 

This Men’s Fashion Week was also marked by its share of sexy men’s looks. At EgonLab , these are scarf tops that reveal the skin, oscillating between a grunge and unapologetically sexy spirit. At the Dior show , the models’ torsos were revealed under a pearl-embroidered top, playing on transparency, while at Ami , the tank tops were presented in a transparent or flesh-colored version. The Burc Akyol fashion show introduces a new model of red crop top (couture version), placed under the sign of sensuality. Let’s see who dares to wear them
