Jockeys and trainers to play at Polo in the Park fundraising lunch for Down Syndrome Dublin
THE Down Syndrome Centre in Dublin Ireland has been chosen this year to benefit from a day of polo highlighted by the ‘Polo in the Park Charity Lunch Party’ featuring the award-winning cuisine of Tankardstown House in County Meath.
The event (Sunday 8 September) coincides with the final tournament of the season at the All Ireland Polo Club for the Pakistan Cup, a season that has seen the best teams rise to the top to face each other for one last time on the polo ground in Phoenix park. The fundraising day will feature well known jockeys and horseracing trainers, going head to head on the historic polo ground in the ultimate charity match.
Tickets for the event in aid of the Down Syndrome Centre Dublin are on sale now and selling fast, the €150 per person or €1,500 for a table of 10 tickets including a champagne reception, fabulous food, Après party and of course, polo reservations are limited.
Reserve by email at derville@noelmeade.com or phone +353866088124. The dress code is expected to be ‘Just Amazing, Darling’ and there will be live music by Sean Boland, one Ireland’s most sought-after singers.
