Beauty trends that will shape fall-winter 2025-2026

What are the beauty trends for fall and winter?
From Miu Miu to Chanel , Marc Jacobs to Dilara Findikoglu , the fall makeup trends range from Kate Moss -esque indie glam sleaze to nude aesthetics and doll-like girlie makeup. In short, there’s sure to be something for everyone in Fall /Winter 2025-2026 . Here’s a look at the best beauty looks spotted on the runways.
Glam indie sleaze
Widely celebrated this year by Charli XCX and many celebrities, the indie sleaze fashion trend , inspired by the look of our idols from the 2010s, is also making its way into the world of beauty . Very rock and slutty, this style will be perfect for cheeky girls. But also for good little girls who want to break their image.

The smoky look
The smoky eye was everywhere at the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 shows . At Hodakova and Blumarine , the eye contour was outlined in a glowy black, while Isabel Marant favored a lighter makeup look , with a subtle smoky gradient appearing on the eyelid. Coperni , meanwhile, called on star makeup artist Pat McGrath for a dark beauty look. The artist behind the porcelain-effect mask at the Maison Margiela Artisanal 2024 show gave the models a dark, grunge look. Almost dramatic.

The pronounced rock eyeliner line
Feather effect at Chanel , ultra-fine at Saint Laurent , or on the contrary drawn in a thick line at Jil Sander , and delicately applied to the eyelashes at Miu Miu … The eyeliner line has lost none of its splendor and will establish itself as one of the major details of your makeup for the coming season. In addition to lengthening the look by giving it a doe-eyed effect, it brings an undeniable rock touch, like Amy Winehouse .
The “90s nude” trend
During the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 Fashion Week , brands and fashion houses focused on minimalism, opting for nude makeup that always makes an impact. Out with flashy eyeshadows, flamboyant red lips, and overly tanned skin… Simplicity reigns supreme, inspired by the “no makeup” look of Parisian women. And the off-duty looks of 90s models.

Natural complexion
You don’t need to wear excessive makeup to attract attention. The nude trend is proof of this. And it continues to make a splash, both on the streets and on the catwalks. Famous Swedish makeup artist Karin Westerlund imagines a very natural glam look at Chloé , combining a slightly golden complexion and luminous skin. The same is true for Ferragamo and the Lanvin Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show ,

Slightly glossy lips
The “90s minimalism” or “90s nude” beauty trend translates into a clean complexion, discreet mascara, but also, and above all, lips enhanced with a shiny gloss or a simple moisturizing balm . At Ottolinger , the brilliant British makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench has understood this well. She focuses on ultra-glossy and plumped lips, combined with soft and light makeup. For her part, Pat McGrath , at Stella McCartney , opts for the simplicity of pink and velvety lips. And that’s more than enough.
Dreamlike colors
In stark contrast to the nude and indie sleaze trends , doll-like makeup and that of a modern witch with opalescent complexion also made their mark backstage at the fall-winter 2025-2026 fashion shows . In contrast to the femme fatale, it is the more girlie or mystical young woman who is revealed in broad daylight.

Doll’s pink cheekbones
Aside from the face-taping and bright red lips seen at the Valentino Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show , one detail particularly caught our attention: cheekbones intensely highlighted in Persian pink, giving the models the impression that they had just stepped out of a toy store. At Marc Jacobs , we see a similar, but more subtle, makeup look, where the cheeks have been carefully dusted with a pastel pink.

Iridescent touches
Known for its gothic yet romantic image, the Dilara Findikoglu brand collaborates with makeup artist Yadim Carranza to create an extremely refined glam look, where fake ink tattoos blend seamlessly with a complexion of blue and iridescent reflections, a blend of poetry and delicacy. Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen, meanwhile, opts for understated makeup, with eyes embellished with touches of silver glitter.
