10 Million Bottles for Graham Norton
Cork native, comedian and BBC Chat Show King, Graham Norton joined the ranks of the “Wine Geese” when he teamed up with Kiwi Winery INVIVO to release the first vintage of Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc in 2014. This year, the entire Graham Norton’s wine and spirits range will achieve a staggering production figure of ten million bottles. They have all come a long way since the first run of 14,000 bottles of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc six years ago. The news comes prior to the release of the 2020 Graham Norton Sauvignon Blanc, the latest vintage produced in association with Invivo & Co.
As in previous years, Norton blended the wines with his Kiwi business partners Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron. However, this year, due to COVID, Ireland-based Norton dialled in his Kiwi business on a summer’s evening in July, from his home in West Cork where he has been spending lock-down. Tim and Rob had couriered six Sauvignon Blanc samples, harvested in Marlborough to Graham and you can watch what happens next HERE
Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc and the GN Prosecco are two of Ireland’s top selling brands in their respective categories. The 2019 Graham Norton Sauvignon Blanc €14.99 is available nationwide. Look out for the other wines in the GN range including his Australian Shiraz, New Zealand Rosé, and the extremely popular GN Prosecco, and of course his range of Irish Gins. The 2020 GN Sauvignon Blanc will be released in Sept.
