We’ve seen some progress in diversity and inclusion within the tech industry, but there’s still a long way to go.
We’re working hard to change the gender ratio at our events, and 46.3 percent of Web Summit 2019 attendees were female. Now more than ever, we’re committed to empowering women across the globe by fostering networking opportunities, building mentorship programmes, and nurturing our online women in tech community.
Ticket benefits
Your women in tech ticket gives you exactly the same benefits as our general attendee ticket does, at just 25% of the cost. That means:
- Access to thousands of talks across 30 topics, covering everything from robotics to design, SaaS to data science, and autotech to the future of money.
- Getting the most out of Web Summit with our event apps. Personalise your profile so that attendees know who you are, and plan your schedule so you don’t miss an essential talk. You’ll also be able to connect with all our attendees and chat with them throughout the event.
- Access to expert-led workshops.

Here’s how it works
Step 1: Enter your email address on our women in tech signup page.
Step 2: You’ll receive a verification email after you sign up. Click the link within to verify your email address.
Step 3: Once your email address is verified, you will receive an email with a unique referral link. Share this referral link with two women who you think would benefit.
Step 4: Once both women have verified their email addresses using your referral link, you’ll receive an email to let you know your women in tech discount code is on the way
Step 5: You’ll receive an email a few days later that includes your discount code and a link through which to redeem it. Click on the link to purchase your women in tech ticket. Each ticket costs €37.25 (or 25% of a regular ticket), and each discount code can be redeemed up to four times.
