THE story of Ifrah Ahmed will at last be told in a series of releases around the world in December, just after panel events take place during the United Nations 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.

Forced to flee war-torn Somalia in 2006, Ifrah Ahmed was trafficked to Dublin Ireland where she was granted asylum. Traumatised by the memory of mutilation as a child Ifrah has channelled her experience into a force for change to emerge as a formidable campaigner against Female Genital Mutilation, her story even moving even the highest political leaders in Ireland, Europe and around the world.
