Feel free to share:

ALDI Ireland is launching a search for an Easter egg taste tester to sample its biggest range yet with one lucky recruit to receive free chocolate in exchange for reviewing the Easter chocolate range.

The cracking recruitment drive for the ‘succ-eggs-ful’ Chief Easter Egg Tasting Officer offers the ‘eggs-cellent’ chocolate Easter Egg range as well as a €500 Aldi voucher while three additional candidates will receive the runner-up prize of an Easter Egg hamper and a €200 Aldi voucher. The offer is free to ‘egg-specially’ selected candidates.

“This year we have an exciting opportunity for trusty Easter egg tasters to join us and pick their favourite products from our 2021 Easter range,” said Aldi Ireland Group Buying Director John Curtin. “We want to hear from people (over 18 years old) who simply love chocolate and can help showcase our innovative range.”

The search for an ‘egg-cellent’ candidate begins on 8 March and to land the role, send an email to eastereggofficer@aldi.ie with a brief ‘eggs-planation’ of reasons for being named the new Chief Egg Tasting Officer. Entrants should include ‘egg-samples’ of their favourite Aldi chocolate and include sweet tales about previous experiences.

‘Succ-eggs-ful’ applicants will receive the first products to sample from 15 March, leaving an ‘eggs-traordinary’ amount of time before Easter (4 April) to advise on favourites.

John Curtin added: “If this sounds like ‘eggs-actly’ what you have been looking for be quick, the deadline for applications is 12th March.”
