New Zealand Wine week is a virtual collaborative campaign targeting their major export markets, including Ireland with the theme ‘Bringing New Zealand to You’.
New Zealand Trade Hub
This week sees the launch of the New Zealand Wine Trade Hub on nzwine.com. This will provide the wine trade with a wealth of New Zealand wine resources and will feature educational materials on New Zealand wines and wine regions, New Zealand wine conversation highlights, as well as image and video galleries and details of their events.
Tuesday 8th February – 8 am PST, 11 am EST, 4 pm GMT
- ‘Business of Wine in NZ – 2022 and Beyond’ – chaired by Richard Siddle, of the Buyer, this business webinar will discuss the current market challenges and how New Zealand is impacted.
- This is open to everyone and Irish participants can sign up by clicking the link.
Thursday 10 February 2022, 8am PST, 11am EST, 4pm GMT
- ‘Pinot Noir Masterclass – An Exploration of our Sub-regions’ – a masterclass led by Cameron Douglas MS that will focus on the sub-regionality across New Zealand’s major Pinot Noir growing regions.
The Masterclass is only open to UK partipants, though anyone who wishes to view the presentation can do so on their website (see link below)
These webinars will be held in a Northern Hemisphere time zone and recordings will be put up on their website immediately afterwards for those not able to join live.
