For almost two decades, Thyme Out has been proud to be part of Dalkey’s vibrant community. A gourmet food shop and delicatessen, all produce is prepared daily in their bustling kitchen in the heart of the village. Although Elizabeth-Sarah began her career as Corporate Solicitor, she has always been passionate about food and business. Elizabeth-Sarah Divilly took over the gourmet food shop almost 3 years ago and quickly put her own stamp on it.
Quality ingredients, talented chefs, and cooking their food from scratch in small batches are just some of the elements that makes Thyme Out unique. Whether its gourmet sandwiches, soups or salads, cakes and desserts, take-home dinners, award-winning 3FE coffee or catering for corporate or family events, Thyme Out covers every need.
When covid hit, Elizabeth-Sarah and her team were forced to adapt to keep afloat. “Our customers have been wonderful and we have listened to their feedback”, Elizabeth-Sarah explains. With restrictions lifting but people still keeping their distance, Elizabeth-Sarah and her team have launched a range of luxury picnic and Antipasti boxes, so you can enjoy great food in the great outdoors, be it your back garden or one of dalkeys hotspots – Coliemore Harbour, Vico Baths, Bullock Harbour and Killiney Hill, to name a few. Enjoy the stunning views at Dillons park or soak up the atmosphere at the picnic benches in Dalkey village.
Picnic Box (from €59- €80) – Serves 4-6

Antipasti Box (from €49- €70) – Serves 4-6 
Thyme Out antipasti food box is full of delicious cold meats, cheese, olives, sun dried tomatoes, crackers, grapes, relish, pesto and a crispy baguette. Packaged in an easily transportable box, perfect for indoor or outdoor dining.
