Chef Supper Club Potions Series an Exclusive Wine Course with Cathryn Bell
Sommelier, Cathryn Bell will present a series of wine tastings as part of the chef supper club’s ‘Potions’ series. This virtual cinematic wine series will feature exceptional wines, specially sourced exclusively for the Chef Supper Club events. The Chef Supper Club offers a series of unique one night only dining at home experience. The tastings will take place on line and wines can be delivered to addresses all over the Republic of Ireland.

Cathryn’s first guest will feature Portuguese winemaking legend, Dirk Niepoort who will present the first event “The Gamechangers”. Dirk Niepoort is the fifth generation of this famous port producing family responsible for a fantastic range of wines and ports from the DO Duero. He is a known visionary and a mentor and his impact can be seen in the wines of Luis Seabra, Dani Landi, Arianna Occhipinti, Craig Hawkins and Raul Perez to name but a few.
“Potions” isn’t a wine course, but rather a journey through today’s wine world with some of the world’s great winemakers and viticulturists as your personal guide. Some of the wines featured in the Potions series have never been available in Ireland before so this is an experience not to be missed. There are only 60 places available. The course will take place over a six week period as follows:

The six week course includes 12 bottles tasting notes, and six live sessions with Cathryn Bell and will run from Thursday 23rd September to 28th October 2021. The cost of Cathryn Bell’s ‘potions’ is €650 for all six tastings.

About Cathryn Bell: Cathryn who is orginally from Wales joined the world of wine via a stint in South Africa. She leant her Sommelier skills working in some of Ireland’s top restaurants, including Ashford Castle, Chapter One and Aimsir. As a sommelier, Cathryn has always loved connecting with people and enjoys the vinous match-making.
